Community Justice Advisory Board
As
part of the Prosecutor’s Office community outreach effort, citizen
advisory boards were established in three municipalities. The
purpose of the Advisory Boards is to promote and foster positive
relationships within the community in order to enhance the quality of
life for the residents of Cape May County by addressing community
concerns and utilizing proactive programs to enhance the safety of all
who live and visit the County. The Boards are comprised of a
diverse group of individuals representing Middle Township, Wildwood, and
Woodbine. The Boards assist the Prosecutor’s Office with ideas for
crime prevention and reduction of juvenile delinquency.
We are currently seeking a few members
from the previously mentioned communities to fill vacancies on the
Boards. Please contact Community Justice Coordinator, Melisha V.
Anderson-Ruiz at (609) 465-1135 or
manderson@cmcpros.net
for further information.

The Cape May County
Prosecutor’s Office continuously seeks to build and reinforce
understanding and cooperation in the County through proactive crime
prevention programs and initiatives. Since
there needs to be more effective communication between the communities and
law enforcement agencies to address problems, the Office of the
Prosecutor has utilized funds from grant JAG
