Arrest made for Burglary, Terroristic Threats and Simple Assault

Cape May Court House, New Jersey – Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief of Detectives Paul Skill announce the arrest of Dylan J. Keenan-Hannum, a 30 year old resident of the Del Haven section of Middle Township and police officer for the City of West Wildwood.

On the morning of November 14, 2021, Hannum was charged by the Lower Township Police Department with Burglary, a crime of the third degree, Terroristic Threats, a crime of the third degree, and Simple Assault, a disorderly persons offense. Hannum was then lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center pending Court proceedings.*

According to Prosecutor Sutherland this is an ongoing investigation and is being handled by detectives from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Professional Standards Unit.
