In response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak and in cooperation with the numerous emergency precautions enacted by federal, state, county and local governments and agencies, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office will be open and staffed to conduct all normal business operations during this time; HOWEVER, the public is being asked to try and conduct business with this office first by calling or email before coming to the office(s). This drastic step has been taken to protect the citizens of Cape May County as well as the members of our staff. The critical operations of this office are still being undertaken by essential personnel who are present in the office everyday.
If you are encountering an emergency, please call 911. If you need to report a non-emergent matter, please contact your local police department.
If you are in need of immediate assistance from a member of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, please contact the front desk at (609) 465-1135. In the alternative, you may communicate with the Prosecutor’s Office by forwarding an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are a victim and need to contact your victim-witness advocate or an assistant prosecutor, you may contact them at their individualized County email or their desk phone.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times.
