Cape May Court House, New Jersey – Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland announced on Monday, December 17, 2018, Ronray Harris, a 40 year old male from Wildwood, was sentenced to 16 years in New Jersey State Prison by the Honorable Sarah Beth Johnson, JSC.
This sentence was related to a February 23, 2017 stabbing that took place at the Wildwood Bus Terminal and a cooperative investigation that was conducted by Detectives from the Wildwood Police Department and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit. Harris was sentenced yesterday to 16 years in State Prison, with no early release due to his criminal history, by Judge Johnson after he was convicted on May 2, 2018 of Aggravated Assault in the second degree.
Prosecutor Sutherland stated that his office will continue to work hand in hand with the local municipalities to aggressively investigate and prosecute violent crimes within the County and he would like to recognize the investigative efforts of the officers and detectives involved in this investigation along with Assistant Prosecutor Alex Settle who prosecuted this case.
